Nouvelle Vague
Knitwear Editorial
I came across a digital magazine based in our neighboring city of Buenos Aires and was immediately inspired to propose a collaboration. The idea of being featured in their magazine was something I passionately pursued. After much anticipation, the collaboration finally materialized, and we conducted the photoshoot at the photographer’s studio, ingeniously located in his parents’ house.
Young and promising fashion photographer Franco Schicke orchestrated the shoot, bringing together the model and makeup artists. Meanwhile, I curated the clothing selection, drawing from the collection of a knitwear brand I co-directed at the time. Our brand focused on crafting garments and accessories using merino wool dyed by the renowned Uruguayan brand, Malabrigo. This editorial seamlessly blends these unique pieces with a series of cotton fabric pants I personally designed to complement the textiles. It stands as a testament to the collaborative spirit between artists who, although never having met, share a deep commitment to excellence in their craft.
